Thievery Corporation is working with composer-in-residence Mason Bates to create a symphonic/electronic presentation of the classic Thievery sound. Join us on May 15th, along with a 22-piece orchestra conducted by Teddy Abrams, for a special performance at the prestigious Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.

This extraordinary KC Jukebox concert will include music highlighting our bossa nova influences, as well as brand-new arrangements commissioned from today's leading young classical composers. Mason himself joins us to kick off the evening with his instrumental/electronica work The Rise of Exotic Computing with DJ Justin Reed (Mercury Soul, Freakeasy/ illmesaures Chicago) and DJ Striz (Freakeasy/ illmeasures Chicago) opening each performance off the night.
